New maps are online

For those of us who want or need to be able to visualize our election results, I just finished an update to the House and Senate maps on the DFW website.

Watch the progression in the State House and Senate, as we change the state slowly from Red to Purple to Blue. Just click on the links to see the 2002, 2004 and 2006 maps. And we're just getting started.

Image outline comes from the leg.wa.gov website. Color work is mine. If you want to copy them, please do. It's all based on public information.

Those maps are very helpful, and a county council map would be even that much better.

BTW, I didn't know you were stepping down at DFW. I would like to thank you for all your hard work there and in general.

KC LDs is nice to compare to the cluster maps, although it will take me a while to schedule a time slice to cook ones based on the '06 data.

My only suggestion would be that something on the map itself indicate which year is being shown (the page loads with 2006).
