Your own trusty Switzerblog will be the guest tonight on
Moral Politics, a locally-produced talk show on Scan TV. During last year's
voter registration challenge/intimidation fiasco, several writers here at Washblog, as well as Goldy at
Horse's Ass and
Eli at the Slog did a lot of work researching election law around voter challenges and proper registration and essentially laid out the case for Norm Maleng to prosecute Lori Sotelo for the perjury she'd committed.
Unfortunately, Norm looked at the election calendar and decided to let her off the hook, as he wouldn't want to upset his Republican base too much by, you know, actually prosecuting people who criminally abuse the voters of King County.
So Bill Alford of Moral Politics has invited me to be on his show, and it'll air in King County tonight at 6:00pm on Channels 77 or 29 (depending on your location and provider). They do stream the show live on the internet, so if you're outside King County and want to learn about the voter registration challenges that may be coming your way, go to www.moralpolitics.org.
