That is the charge by a group of feminists called "Resist".
Apparently they saw an ad in the Weekly and decided this show is demeaning to women (because it's "Cabaret") and may picket the theater.
One of them called the theater manager, claiming to be with the McDermott office, and upset her by nastily accusing her of promoting sexist stereotypes, said ALL the women in the office were outraged that anyone might think this was connected to McDermott.
But a McDermott staffer called us and said: "Don't worry, the show is fine with us, as long as you make it clear that it's an independent effort. Don't let the protestors bother you. They have a right to express themselves, and so do you."
Oh well, at least picketers charging sexist SLEAZE would probably guarantee us a full house! I can see Belltowner writing his check right now...
