My daughter requested that I bring her best girl friend to meet her also. We were hanging out in the waiting area opposite the check-in desks just inside the entrance from the street, but next to the ramp that leads from the doors.

Not long after we settled in, I looked over my shoulder through the glass and saw a well dressed woman entering and assumed correctly that it was Nancy Pelosi.

I stood and approached the railing dividing the waiting area from the entrance ramp and called out " Madame Speaker?"
She stopped and turned to me as I extended my hand, took hers, and said, "Thank you for meeting with Assad in Syria. You have the support of so many Americans". She thanked me and asked who the young lady was who was with me. The startled 10 year old said "I'm the friend of his daughter" as she pointed at me blushing.

I immediately thought that Ms. Pelosi was very gracious to even ask of her. What a class act.

I grabbed my camera and as I lifted it was reminded by an awesome picture she had on her website of Cindi Sheehan and her sitting on a couch together looking very somber. One of those pictures that say so much.

Anyway, she was kind enough to pose for this....
