Well, they're trying...

This is so frustrating.
I'm working on trying to find election results from August 19th at the county level, and I discovered that our Secretary of State's office is trying to help the county auditors by hosting their websites. It's a neat idea, and I approve. However, whoever is doing the programming of these .aspx pages is having trouble dealing with all of the complications.
The base website is
http://wei.secstate.wa.gov. Don't click if you see it as a link, because that's a non-existent page. (It SHOULD be a central page with links to all 39 county websites, but it isn't.)
To find each auditor's website, add the name of the county to the URL. Example: http://wei.secstate.wa.gov/asotin. Each page basically takes the frame from the existing county website, if it exists, and provides the same basic information. What's nice about the election results pages is that the format of the results is the same. And if the county auditor has been collecting election results online, those archives are provided. (Some counties have November, 2007 and the February, 2008 special election. Better than nothing, I guess.)
I'm writing this blog post because I'm wrapping my fingers on my desk waiting for these pages to start working again. It's on-again off-again, and that's what is so darn frustrating. When they come back, I'll continue to collect information.
Oh, here's where I'm collecting information about Democrats running at the county level this November:

If you see a red link, it means that name doesn't have an article yet. Feel free to add/edit! I don't find anyone else doing this, at least not public on the web.
