Reichert: Maybe Climate Change Ain't Real

In one of its many reckless acts of disregard for science and the real-life impacts of its ideology, the Republican leadership of the US House chose to put Dave Reichert on the House committee on Science and Technology.  And they didn't even give him any remedial lessons in the  basics of the scientific method.  Well, Dave Reichert has his doubts that climate change is real or that people are causing it.  Please read Darryl Holman's  trenchant take-down  of Reichert's "pre-enlightenment" understanding of science.

Darryl, an associate professor in the Anthropology Department at the University of Washington, is an anthropologist and a demographer.   He specializes, among other things, in scientific and statistical modeling. I wonder how he would rate Reichert's understanding of the scientific process compared to the understanding of the typical in-coming freshman.
