Switzer's back from the freakin' black plague of death that nearly ended his reign of open thread greatness, and is happy to bring you the following joyful tidings of gladness:
- Our own Noemie posts a lovely diary at Kos about the 47th and Darcy's campaign.
- If you're not reading The (liberal) Girl Next Door, you're probably an idiot. Just kidding, I'm the idiot around here. She's a super, super nice kid from Bellevue (kid being a relative term...), and she has this to say about America's current ideological shift.
- I'll link to Natasha's endorsement of the Dixie Chick's new song, "Not ready to make nice", but I suggest you spend some time exploring the tremendous writing at Pacific Views to see what you've been missing if you haven't already picked up on it. Natasha's known nationally, and she and Mary will both be in Vegas for YearlyKos (another reason to come)!
- Local fun-time mudslinger Belltowner hosts his own lil' blog called Pike Place Politics, and it's more than worth a read - it's good readin'. Nothing special today, but it's one to bookmark.
- Wooo! Free pass to surf online at work! Okay, I promise to have better stuff tomorrow, but I'm claiming flu delirium for this one...
Again, if you're going to YearlyKos,
please let me know so we can have an ol' timey throw-down!
And kids? It's really all just fun and games until somebody pokes an eye out, so be careful here today, okay? Play nice.
