Important Statistical Analysis of Reichert's Record on Road to 2008

Daniel Kirkdorffer, of On the Road to 2008, is a techie and he's done a techie thing.  He's created a program that statstically analyzes Reichert's votes.  It's an important accomplishment.

Daniel's narrowed down the universe of all Congressional votes to the votes that really matter -- the ones where Reichert's action made a difference to our country.

In so doing, he proves that Reichert is no moderate; he proves that, almost without exception, Reichert sides with the corrupt Republican leadership.  And he shows that this leadership is completely out of touch with what the American people want.

Daniel's analysis and logic are ineluctable.

Anyone who anticipates that he or she may end up talking about Reichert to voters, trying to explain why Reichert is no moderate, needs to read Daniel's piece.  This needs to be part of the "toolkit" we all have in order to help get our country back from the "smash-and-grab" Bush administration (hat tip to Dwight Pelz for the smash and grab language).

Well, not really.  If Sharkansky wanders over here he'd be rolling his eyes.

However, we, like he, have the data available to us to study.  It behooves us to do so.

There are many votes out there, amendments, etc... and looking at these 35 is just one level, albeit probably the most important.

But it is important to better understand the issues they have been voting on, and how Reichert positions himself, and the truth is that he has not established a voting record that supports the image he would wish the voters to have of him.

Thanks for the link.
