Lynnwood Hosts International Anti-Gay Extremists
Posted by David Schmader on OCTOBER 11 at 9:42 AM

"..,.the Watchmen on the Walls will hold an international meeting to plot their war against homosexuals and "homosexualists" (straight people who are sympathetic to gay people) at the Lynnwood Convention Center."  "The Watchmen conference scheduled for October 19-21 at the Lynnwood Convention Center will feature a number of prominent Latvian anti-gay warriors, along with the Northwest's own Pastor Ken Hutcherson." (I wonder if Pastor Ken's buddy and Sno Co Sheriff Candidate Tom Greene will be in attandance)

"Latvian anti-gay warriors?" Yeah, they would be led by this guy:

"As featured Watchmen speaker Pastor Alexey Ledyaev put it, the Watchmen's mission is "to bring the laws of our nations in[to] full compliance with the law of God." This Taliban-esque mission is made more alarming by the anti-gay violence that tends to swarm around Watchmen events."

Considering that Lynnwood is currently engaged in a human rights struggle involving the alleged collaboration between the Lynnwood PD and Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officials (causing the minority community there to fear a trip to the local Fred Meyer lest they be stopped for driving while brown) you might think that they would be a bit more sensitive as to who they invite to town. While Schmader indicates that the folks at the LCC seemed genuinely surprised to find out who their "guests" might be, I would suggest that, in the future, a simple Internet search might be in order before you invite bigotry to your town.

<snip> the Watchmen's mission is "to bring the laws of our nations in[to] full compliance with the law of God." <snip>

The idea that this twisted version of "the law of god" might be enforced worldwide is frightening in the extreme.  What the devil is going on in Lynnwood!?
