sen murray and lewis co

sen murray toured homes hit hard by the december flood

this is our katrina. there was the usual media ops with murray and steve mansfield (our sheriff). there are people who were completely ruined and only got 500.00! there was one couple who only got 56.00! there was a roundtable meeting with the notable beings in power with the senator to discuss ( again....) how the flood can be prevented, how can there be more aid, blah blah blah. thank goodness its an election year or nothing would have been done.
again its an issue of where to build the dikes, the bridges, how to access the hospital that was built on the wrong side of the river.

Thanks, lhsouthern for this info.  Do you have specific examples?  If you're alleging insufficient help, it would be nice to know specifics. That makes the information more useful and also more credible/believable. Pictures would be helpful, as well.

On the formatting issue: Instead of publishing a separate diary for each short entry on an individual subject (flooding in Lewis County, for example), please put your entries together in one substantive piece.   You can go back as many times as you want and add entries to a diary.  The diaries stay up for several days, even up to a couple of weeks, so people will be able to track them.  If you create lots of short diaries, all the other work of other people will scroll off the front page much quicker.

Thanks!
