McKay resigns, maybe Reagan Dunn back in the fold

U.S. Attorney John McKay is going to hit the links, leaving one of the choice federally appointed jobs in the Northwest open. Maybe this is Reagan Dunn's next career move?

Total guess on my part, but with Dunn being a former assistant U.S. Attorney, not a total off the wall idea.

And, with Democratic chances increasing in the King County 'burbs, maybe a better chance at taking the 5th council district too?

I tell my east coast friends how on the other side of the lake are suburbs of too many clueless people completely economically dependent on the wealth & infrastructure created in or by Seattle.

Too many clueless incapable of doing enough simple math to see that without Seattle's wealth, the roads and infrasture would have never been built to allow ... redmond? ... to grow to more than farms accessable by horse and wagon.

Who do they elect to send to Wash D.C.?  Some flat earth anti - government corporate stooge, who, true to form, is really comfortable with using government power to keep big business free from competition or free from accountability.

yawn.

these are east coasters - they are kind of tuned into the world not being peachy keen nicey nicey all the time.

Anyway, I tell my friends that I don't know if Jenn-Jenn is first generation Antionnette wanna-bee, or 14th, BUT

she bred, ugh

and named her goddam kid

Reagan!

(quick jeopardy question for 5000 - what drooling idiot named Reagan ran the country almost into the ground from '81 to '89, and who also managed to really set the table for another drooling idiot in 2001?)

I always hear the phone bouncing off the floor and my friend on the other end laughing hysterically.

Remember, America as a global laughingstock didn't start in 2001.
