Majority Rules blog files PDC complaint against funder of judicial candidate Groen

[Author update 9/15/06: Zemke's looking for other people to join the complaint. You can contact him at stevezemke@msn.com for more details.]

Steve Zemke of Majority Rules has filed a Public Disclosure Commission complaint against Americans Tired of Lawsuit Abuse. Read about it Here

.

Americans Tired of Lawsuit Abuse is just a front group, Zemke charges, for other funders.

Follow the links in Zemke's blog entries and you'll see he's tracked down that it appears a group called American Tort Reform Coalition may actually be the funder.

Hundreds of thousands of dollars are pouring into our state through this phantom group.  This has been the most expensive judicial race ever.  And it is an obvious gambit to replace an exceptionally qualified justice, our Supreme Court's Chief Justice Jerry Alexander, with a barely qualified ideologue who's never been a judge and who's guilty of exquisite hypocricy.  Way to go, Steve Zemke.  Thank you.

donate to this guy, instead of pouring money into black holes like the "Coordinated Campaign" !

The smears on Anderson are just setting the table for the smears that are going to happen all across the board, AND

since "our" hapless Dems don't know anything about political offence for fear of creating offense,

please fund someone who is doing something to fight these low down lying ba$tard$!

The following ad is being hyped by kos as the best ad of the year.

It is a t.v. spot,
it is AGAINST george allen in VA. for senate,
it is put out by a group VetsVote or something like that,
the guy in the ad is a Vet from Iraq,

the ad is HARD HITTING.

If I hit the lottery, I'll fund an ad as tough on Alexander's flat earth opponent, AND

I won't hide behind a bunch of legal horsey-crap.

Of vote by mail statewide, these elections may already be over.
Many people vote as soon as the ballot arrives. I've received several mailings for Groen, and osme for Alexander. At least one Groen arrived on the same day as the ballot.
I'll mark my ballot Monday and hand deliver it. There's really no point in my delay this time, except for tradition. I don't have anymore required thought. It'd still help if someone would indict the BIAW candiates soon, but I won't be holding my breath :)
