Arthur Ruger
wrote about Feingold's hearing on Iraq recentlly. Today, Senator Feingold introduced the
Iraq Redeployment Act of 2007, which would use Congress' power of the purse to bring home the troops/end the war in 6 months.
Is there enough political backing for this? It looks like the most promising move on the part of a Senator yet. But what are the implications of its exceptions for counterterrorism, economic activities, etc.? Is this a good measure to put support behind? Should Cantwell and Murray be supporting this? What do people think?
