UFCW is having a `Share the Success' event this morning at a (Puget Sound) supermarket near you.

Who's UFCW? It's United Food And Commercial Workers Locals 21, 44 and 81... the folks who work at your local grocery store and "Over 20,000 grocery workers throughout the Puget Sound region are currently negotiating with Fred Meyer, QFC, Safeway and Albertson's".

You can read all about it at Share The Success. Organized Labor; It's something worth supporting. Like Jim Hightowers says; everybody does better, when everybody does better.

A former neighbor was a clerk at QFC. After Kroger bought them, the employees started feeling the squeeze. My neighbor had a bumper sticker that said:

"QFC: Rewarding Hard Work With Low Wages"
