Kucinich wins in a landslide!

Dennis Kucinich took 58% of the vote in a survey of 136,395 respondents at http://www.dehp.net/candidate/

The independent survey posed 25 yes/no questions and then paired those answers with the candidate who best matched their views.

In response to the outcome, Kucinich's campaign put out the following statement:

"When people vote exclusively on the issues that are important to them, without being influenced by name recognition, celebrity or millions of dollars in advertising, Congressman Kucinich wins in a landslide"

At the time of this post, Kucinich is carrying 79,044 votes.

The second runner up is Gravel at 9,601.

Clinton is at 5045,
Obama is at 4015,
Edwards is at 1496.

The leading Republican is Ron Paul at 9310.

It must be a bitch to be "unelectable".

Never has one word so destroyed the idea of Democracy.

with 89 points.  Then Gravel, then Obama, then Clinton and Edwards tied.  If I were voting in the primary today (and it looks like, essentially, we don't get to vote in the primary here in WA), I'd consider voting for Kucinich this time.

Yes, without that word President Dean/Kucinich institutes single payer health care for all out of the surplus from 3 years of peace, prosperity and a progressive tax code.

Osama Bin Laden has been executed.  Iraq is self-governing.  No Military Commissions Act in existence.  Patriot Act is repealed.  No more oligopoly of media ownership.  Paper ballots would be required for elections.  NAFTA/CAFTA is repealed.

etc.

But instead we will continue to elect the "electables".

What did you dream? It's all right, we told you what to dream. Pink Floyd
