Anyone going to the Feb 18th Dem Crabfeast in Lacey?

This is the
Annual Democratic Party Crab Feast for which I dress appropriately when I go.

Surely EVERYONE would be disappointed if I did not make an appearance.

Most of the partygoers think it's delighful eye candy. They do not seem to realize that the jellyfish symbolizes the spineless Dems, the lionfish is the courageous ones, the puffer fish is the bloviators.

This year's guest  speaker is Senator John Tester of Montana.

See and be seen!
Rub shoulders with all the Washington Dem VIPs!
Cough up $40!

I would like to carpool with someone. The PCO training is an all-day thing (extra $10) and the Crab Feast starts right after that.

Please let me know!

Thanks!

I just find the thought of spending an entire day learning how to ...

pimp money outta people OR get volunteers who are then going to pimp money outta people

for a bunch of spineless chickenshits who are gonna vote for gonzo and mukaksky and alito and roberts and tax cuts for rich scum and

oops!

I forgot the little bloodbath in baghdad! silly me!

and bankruptcy laws for visa and lawyer laws to help out poor ol boeing / safeco / gm

AND

how many other completely crappy things of the last 7 years has 'our' party enabled by NOT fighting?

Your sea creature tiara is.. well I'm not sure I want to characterize it, but it's not so much nicely fashioned as something else -- fashioned, yes -- but in a different, a better category or even a better dimension than nice.

On the other hand, a mound of crabs with people eating them seems kinda scary to me. So I've never gone to the crab feed. Such is the sad state of someone who grew up vegetarian... my imagination overcomes my hunger:

I should have been a pair of ragged claws
Scuttling across the floors of silent seas.

Spineless ones, courageous ones, and bloviators/ blowfish. Good!
