John & Elizabeth Edwards launch Iraq/Recession Campaign today
I still believe that getting out of Iraq is the number one priority for this country. With John and Elizabeth Edwards lending their valued support to this campaign, it may well underscore Iraq as a costly economic issue that has become critically important to Americans. I am hopeful it will lend itself to creating the sense of urgency among millions of Americans to demand a strategy to bring U.S. troops home.

PRNewswire-USNewswire - Feb. 25 SOURCE Iraq Campaign 2008 I phoned Moira Mack of the Iraq Campaign 2008 at the number shown in press release. I talked to a person there explaining that I wanted to confirm the information, and talk to Moira. Explaining a bit about my own background as a military family who has been speaking out, and my wish to post this information to Washblog as contributing editor, therefore, my wish to confirm it first. He took my info and said would pass it along to her, and he did say they had just concluded a phone call with John Edwards. Given that the press conference is at 11 AM EST, it makes sense that there would be a lot of busy going on with the campaign. I wouldn't expect Moira to return my call until some of the activity settles down. other sources I found this information; See at The Nation
