It was a great day even though some did not gain 50%+1

The so called Prop Rights measure soundly defeated.
Estate tax upheld.
Alt energy measure passed.
Stephen Johnson and the BIAW soundly defeated.
Federal races across this nation will in the end cause a shift in leadership in both houses.
Along with picking up many Gov seats, several former GOP presidential candidates were sent packing, creating a great foundation for an 08 Presidential victory for Democrats.
In our state legislature races we built huge majorities and if we do not now try to do too much too fast then our Governor can celebrate her reelection on election day in 08.

Oh, we did not win every race. Still it was a great day for democrats.

Even in the 8th, where it is hard to project a victory for Darcy, the fact is that the 8th as a result of Darcy, will be a targeted race until the day it goes blue.
And in the 5th we found a great statesmen in Peter Goldmark who I hope we will see in a longer campaign in 08.

Lets bring our military home. Peace is the answer.

I don't know where else to ask, so I'll start here... Does anyone know how to determine Dem vs GOP standings nationwide in state house, state senate, state secretary of state, and governorships?
