So, we're going to do open threads again. You guys need a place where you can talk about Maria, gas prices, stupid Republican tricks, and suggestions for finding a house under $300,000 in King County (my suggestion: Move to Yakima, screw King County). I'll do these daily until you're all trained to wait for them like salivating dogs, unable to wait for your chance to post a random, off-topic comment on something. Woot for Washblog!

Cheney told Everett to go f@#k itself yesterday, raising money for Reichert, "moderate" McGavick, and Roulstone, the stooge running against Rick Larsen.
Goldy at Horse's Ass wonders if anti-rail zealots will walk the tax-increase walk to support a much-needed bus expansion in King County.
The Slog continues their coverage of the 43rd with today's entry about Bill Sherman.
A challenger for Tim Sheldon! Maybe we'll see some actual representation coming from the 35th now; wouldn't that be nice...
If you live in Eastern WA and don't follow the Spokane Young Dem's blog, you don't know what you're missing.
Switzerblog continues to write nothing of importance. But google "Green prosperity handkerchief" - seriously. It's funny. :-)
You should check out Pleasing to Remember - written by the chair of the 5th LD, he does lots of procedural posts, giving insight into how a district organization works, but also takes fun pokes at Republicans.

Finally, everyone should know that today is willisreed's 27th birthday, so wish him or her a happy birthday and many happy regards until he or she says something to piss you off again (there's a poll so you can do this very thing)! Now talk amongst yourselves, what's up your craw today?

I wouldn't mind kicking 5 or 10 bucks into the community pot, BUT

I get a lot of 1 ratings, which I could care less about, EXCEPT

I don't want to pay to keep a free speech zone alive when someday all the

"free-speech-is-great-as-long-as-I-agree-with-it"

"political-debate-is-important-as-long-as-I-Like-it"

... "democrats"

kick me off their little island of nirvana and debate.

I've left other places because what I have to say, and how I have to ... ugh, puke, choke ... "tone it down" was unwelcome -

and that is fine.

1 thing about "free speech" is everyone gets to define free speech, and everyone gets to agree with or laugh at or disagree with or shut off anyone they want - IMHO.

I'd be willing to kick 5 or 10 bucks into the community pot, AND

IF you don't like my comments and diaries, tough - don't read them.

I don't like losing for THE SAME F$^ING STUPID reasons for 20+ years.

I just ask that you don't take my money if you'd rather I wasn't here - there are plenty of places on the internets for discussion.

All over the great US of A are tens of thousands of signs and bumper stickers and buttons that say "No Iraq War" and now we can all put them to use for the war of the week. So in a way its a massive recycling project. Kind of makes me feel all warm and fuzzy. Which brings us to the need for tens of thousands on "N" stickers for retrofitting all of our signs and such. Since just about every decision shrub has made so far has been related to money, I am still looking for the link between Haliburton and the world supply in the letter N.
