- Mayors Climate Protection Agreement. Signed by 407 mayors from 50 states -- about 20 of them in Washington
- 25 x 25 Action Plan calls for 25% of the total energy consumed in the United States to be produced by American working lands by 2025. 25 x 25 is a national alliance of organizations representing farmers, ranchers, and forest owners (co-chaired by a WA farmer, J. Read Smith).
