The Building Industry Association of WA has too much power

From the scandal involving fired US Attorney General John McKay we have the image to the left.  Hat tip to Susan Hu and her DKos story of today: Please Ask the Whitehouse to replace Mr. McKay.  Hu's story gives a good summary of the timeline of events and other significance of this scandal. I created the image from the pdf on today's Seattle Times: story: At Senate hearing, McKay vigorously defends his work.  Click the image to see a larger version.

Remember that BIAW is the organization that indicated on the front page of its web site that it supported "revenge" and a "frontal assault" on Washington State's Supreme Court -- for its land use decisions.  It's one of those organizations that takes millions in rebates from the payments that Washingtonians pay into worker's compensation -- and then then pours it into political activities that harm those workers' (our) economic interests and communities. In fact, according to the Washington State Labor Council, BIAW takes more of this money than any other Washington organization. In 2004 alone, it received $5 million.

oh ... wait ...

nevermind.

our noble, selfless, full of integrity

and pretty much completely lacking in message Washington Democrats

let these bastards keep getting their slop for their corruption, AND

are incapable of pointing out the appalling hypocrisy of what the BIAW pulls and what the WEA legitimately does.

Where is the REAL problem?

How about the shitty 'leadership' on 'our' side.
