On Tap @ Newport Hills Drinking Liberally

On March 2nd, King County Councilman Larry Phillips spoke to the Newport Hills chapter of Drinking Liberally about his candidacy for King County Executive and the issues facing King County Voters.

Here's what's coming up...

April 6th: Drugstore.com co-founder and ex-Microsoft VP Suzan DelBene will pitch her candidacy for the WA-08 Congressional seat.

May 4th: King County Council Chair Dow Constantine will make his case as a candidate for King County Executive.

I'm working on Fred Jarrett, who has also announced his candidacy for County Executive.

A national organization with chapters in all 50 states (including 13 in Washington), Drinking Liberally is a network of social groups comprised of progressive minded individuals who get together on a regular basis to discuss issues.

Drinking Liberally is a non-partisan group, and does not endorse candidates (but candidates and elected officials are always welcome).

The Newport Hills Drinking Liberally chapter meets the first Monday of each month, 7:00 pm, at the Mustard Seed Grill & Pub at 5608 119th Ave. SE in the Newport Hills neighborhood in South Bellevue.

No RSVP is required, and all are welcome. There is no entry fee and no dues of any kind. Just show up, and have fun. The only requirement is to drink alcohol responsibly, or not at all.

I look forward to seeing some new faces on April 6th.
