Michael Latimer (opposed to the bill, btw) just described a vision a friend had wherein she was taken over Jesus' knee and spanked, and Jesus told her he wouldn't stop until she repented.  He then connected this vision to 9/11, brought up Katrina - apparently all judgments, and more can only be avoided by not passing HB 2661.

sigh  Jesus spanks people now?  These people are really nuts.

I for one would like a transcript to quote from for letters to the editor.  This could make some good fodder and show how divorced from the 'reality-based' community these guys are.

I may be wrong, but I just can't believe a majority of my fellow citizens actually buy into this crap.

I haven't heard any gay people today.  Is such an important bill going to be discussed without any of the folks who would be protected speaking up for it?  Someone please tell me that I just missed them.
