I have decided that I'm definitely going to the
YearlyKos convention. The chance to hear Harry Reid in person, to rub shoulders with actual, honest-to-goodness
policy-makers! I must go.
So now I'm facing up to making my travel plans before the end of the month, and I'm curious if anyone else around here is planning on attending.
Please share whatever thoughts you have about the show itself, and travel and lodging options.
I hear that the Riviera has recently remodeled their rooms, which is great, since my husband once said that he'd rather sleep on the floor of a taxi-cab than stay there again. (His industry trade-show is being held there next week, so I'll get an update soon - he, of course, is not staying there, but I'll make him go look at somebody's room for me!)
Also, I'm still debating what level to register at - it's hard for a small-business person to predict ahead of time how much money is going to be in the bank when the credit card bill comes in. It feels a bit like a public television drive. Hmmmm. Do I get a coffee mug if I register at the $180 level? A signed photo of Kos at $360? : )
