Pen has a great rundown of the Josh Brown story here. The newly elected (with 56 percent) Kitsap County Commissioner is being sued over his residency.

The State Democratic Party sent out an email today in support of Brown. You can contribute to his legal fund here.

From the email:

We need your help. On November 8th, the voters of Kitsap County elected Josh Brown to be their County Commissioner with 56% of the vote. Not content to accept the will of the people, the losing candidate, his wealthy campaign donors, and the Kitsap County Republican Party are trying to overturn and steal this election.

They are challenging Josh Brown's residency in the 23rd District. They have no case, but they have deep pockets. They have hired a team of expensive lawyers, hoping to drive Josh into deep debt in order to defend himself.
The Washington State Democratic Party stands behind Josh Brown, and we are fighting to defend his seat. We have sent our lawyers to Bremerton, but our legal costs are mounting.
