On June 28, as a result of the efforts of Queen Anne Neighbors for Responsible Growth (QANRG), a new Farmers Market will be opening on Queen Anne. The market supports local farmers; provides the neighborhood with access to delicious, healthy, sustainable, locally- grown crops; and serves as a friendly, relaxed, community gathering place.
The project took about a year from inception to fruition. A dedicated community activist whom many of you know, Nancie Kosnoff, was a key player in getting the market up and running. Congratulations to all for this very concrete and delectable accomplishment!
