Brian Baird Quits! Good Riddance.

The P-I and others report that Southwest Washington's DINO Congressman will be packing it in at the end of his term.

Known for supporting Bush's Iraq adventure and, most recently opposing healthcare reform Baird's departure should provide a welcome reprieve for a state party that is struggling to find its its message and its soul.

Now that the imaginary "Tea Party" is oupolling the Republicans among all voters and even outpolling Democrats among Independents, Nuts and Morons, there is a real chance for Progressives...

...to get a real Progressive candidate running in Washington's 3rd district. The time is now to take advantage of a Republican party split between the Eggheads and the Abyss.

Will we do it?

Who will run?

Will the top-two system screw everything up as, indeed, it was designed to do?

Why do I keep asking questions here rather than in the poll?

'progressive'

we won't scare away all the diaper wetters who are afraid of any passion or indignation,

cuz if there is passion and indignation then people will call you a poopulista, and people will call you angryier, and call you bitter ...
and how else can people like gingrich, rove and mitch mcconnel be successful, unless we're PATHETIC?
