[Editor's Note: This story is a response to: Anti-Gay Activist Running for Renton City Council, which was posted on Washblog on 10/16/07. Because there is no new information here -- and very little effort -- misspellings and all, even in the title, it probably belongs more as a comment. I'm considering the options. Noemie]

You can NOT please everybody.

13 year Renton Resident Cheryl Haskins is hopeful to become apart of the Renton City Council!

Despite the attacks on her beliefs and donation sources she still desires to contribute her experience, education and fresh views to make us a BETTER Renton!

Cheryl is a FIRST time candidate. The first time you start ANTHING, the people who KNOW you are INITIALLY your primary supporters. Would you invest in someone that you don't know? Probably not! Once she proves that she more than qualifies to be on the council, I GARUNTEE that Renton business owners and citizens will MORE than match her current contributions!

*A leader is one who fights for what they believe in.
*One who is absolute, not swayed by the opinions of others.
*One who has WORKEDand EARNED EVERYTHING they have and know.
*One who has integrity and is teachable.

CHERYL HASKINS is ALL of these things!

Negatively exploitnig the beliefs of another to justify your own is elementary.

Lets face it, if she were gay they would be mad about that! You can NOT please everybody. The one you should fear is the one who DOES "please" everybody. It means the are dishonest about their TRUE beliefs/views, unpredictable and once elected they may turn on you.

With Cheryl Haskins what you SEE is what you get!
