Ideas from first pre-caucus forum

Topic: Building the base
Here is a list of the ideas submitted after our first pre-caucus forum down here in Thurston County. It was held in Yelm and because of some conflicts (Howard Dean, for example) only a few folks could make it. It was a great conversation though on recent events in Yelm and the party's stance on economics.
Here are some of my favorites:
"We can reduce homelessness in our community. Need to use both tax-based and economy based solutions; need to encourage low-cost housing through regulation changes, funding opportunities, etc...; Need to eliminate barriers to home ownership, especially through mental health programs."
and...
"Thurston County economic development, to attract living wage jobs locally."
Here are the rest. After last night's forum on environmental issues, there are three more forums in Thurston County until next weekend's caucuses.
