On the "Buy USA" website, they're touting the fact that they are trying to create a Free Trade agreement with Peru.

This one is against the Korean American Free Trade agreement. They're having round 3 of the trade talks in Seattle from September 5th to the 9th.

I think it's a problem when we focus on one aspect of this Empire's dealings to the exclusion of their real agenda. As damaging and horrific as it is, Iraq and Israel are merely a distraction from their fundamental goal, which is the consolidation of power and wealth. If we ignore everything else, we will wake up from the war in a world that we won't recognize, and we'll have twice as much work to do trying to repair it. Hot buttons are things that prevent us from seeing the big picture. There are people behind the people who are behind Bush, and if we cut off the head of the Hydra without also attacking the heart, we'll be back at this in another 20-30 years.
