Josh Brown walked out of the courthouse in Port Orchard a county commissioner, again, as the Kitsap Republicans lost their lawsuit challenging his residency.
Aside from even filing the suit, the strangest part of the case was that the Republicans hired a private investigator to trail Brown. Startling evidence gathered by the PI included that Brown spent the holidays with his family:
Gig Harbor private investigator Larry Walsh followed Brown between Nov. 16 to Dec. 29. Terry Brown said the family, including 26-year-old Josh Brown, left for New Jersey to visit relatives on Nov. 21. When the family returned following Thanksgiving, Terry Brown said, he asked his son to stay in the Silverdale home for a few days while Terry Brown was away on business.
He then said that Josh Brown left for California on Nov. 30, where he stayed until Dec. 3. Josh Brown was then in Olympia between Dec. 6 and 8 for training, and spent "75 percent" of his time between Dec. 21 and Christmas at his parents' home.
