Chris Marr draws 400 to senate kick off
Chris Marr kicked off his campaign for the State Senate in Spokane this morning and I am told the room was packed with some 400 democrats. I expect we will have access to a few newspaper stories in the morning but I thought I would get this story up.
Chris Marr is a former car dealership owner and former Spokane Chamber of Commerce president and a present or former member of the state transportation commission. This is a solid prospect for picking up a seat. My better half was there and says the room was full of energized democrats.
So for those keeping track democrats are on their way to gaining 4 Senate seats. Even a gain of two would produce a majority stronger than at any time in the past 20+ years.
