Apparently Sen's Murray and Cantwell have teamed up to block the appointment of the new head of the FDA until a decision is rendered on selling plan B over the counter.

This is a perfect example of why we all need to support Cantwell in the -general-. While we all disagree on portions of her platform, we can also all agree that she'll be better than McGavick on the balance.

Not to diminish the point

because you're right across the board, and it's important, but just wanted to make a small point: this issue's been ongoing for well over a year now; Murray and Clinton stood alone for quite some time, but Cantwell's gotten involved and been helpful lately.

Actually

Cantwell has voted for the Morning After Pill. She still thinks we can finish the mission, no matter the casualties. She was recently quoted as saying she "Has No Regrets" on her Pro-Pill vote.

I don't know if I read that article right...
