I'll be at the convention, will you?

I was wondering if some kind of informal get together might happen amoung Wash and other Bloggers. The convention claims to provide internet access in all meeting rooms, I don't know if that means wireless or not.

And suggestions for a secret handshake or other recognition signals :)

Who are you kidding, Gibney? We'll find you at the bar, as always. :-)

From the Chair of the State Progressive Caucus:
****
The Washington State Progressive Caucus is proud to announce that there will be a potluck dinner held at the Holiday Inn Express from 6:30 p.m. until 8:45 p.m.   Please bring your own table service and a dish to share.  We encourage a donation at  the door of $6.50, which should be more affordable for everyone.

There is no agenda, as this is not a formal meeting.  All candidates and elected officials are invited and welcome.  Everyone is welcome. The Progressive Caucus is offering real dialogue and an opportunity to expand our community.

The Holiday Inn Express is located at 1001 East A Street in Yakima.  It is a five-minute walk from the Convention Center.  Go north on 8th St. toward East Street, take a slight right onto East Street and the Holiday Inn will be right in front of you.

The room we were able to get has a capacity of 35 at a time with no alcohol permitted, but we will be having a hospitality suite as well at the Marriott Inn located at 137 South Fair Ave.  This will start as soon as we get back from the dinner, hopefully around 9pm.  Suite number is not know at this time, but we will post it on signs around the Inn as soon as we know.

Hope to see you there!

Larry Kalb, Progressive Caucus Chair
& the rest of the Progressive Caucus Executive Board.
