A well-informed DC source has told me that an Iran resolution is in the works in the Senate. I haven't been told the contents, but I've been told that it is likely to pass. Has anyone else heard about a possible Iran resolution?
In the meantime, there are a number of Iraq resolutions that may be hitting the floor of the Senate in the next couple weeks. Biden will have a resolution. Warner is apparently doing his own bill and Collins may be doing one, too. We all know about the Kennedy bill, and candidates Clinton, Dodd, and Obama have plans for capping the level of troops.
I am interested in any and all opinions of these Iraq resolutions as they appear and are considered. I'm having a little trouble keeping up with who is proposing what. If anyone has any insight, please let us know.
