Support WA State Senate Joint Memorial 8003
Senator Jeanne Kohl-Welles (36th LD) has introduced SJM 8003 that:
- Calls on Congress and the President of the United States to not escalate involvement in Iraq or increase troop levels.
- Requests that Congress pass legislation requiring the President to seek Congressional approval before spending taxpayer money on any escalation of the war.
Also looks like there is a similar bill in the House, HJM 4004.
